Bishop-Elect Young’s Biography
Bishop-Elect Daryl L. Young, the eldest son of Dr. Eloise L. Young, has been deeply involved in ministry alongside his mother for over 30 years. From a young age, his musical talents shone brightly as he began playing the drums at just six years old. With time, he mastered the organ, becoming one of the most respected musicians in the Tri-state area. His musical journey led him to minister alongside esteemed gospel leaders such as Bishop Eric McDaniel and Bishop T.D. Jakes around the world.
However, Bishop-Elect Young's calling transcended music, leading him into the realm of spiritual leadership. Answering the Lord's call with a resounding "yes," he embraced his role as a fisher of men, guiding countless souls to salvation, deliverance, and freedom through the preached Word and the demonstration of the Spirit.
Under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit, Bishop-Elect Young has orchestrated impactful revivals, prayer meetings, tent services, and supernatural classes, providing invaluable biblical education. In 2012, after years of faithful service and fervent prayer, his mother, Dr. Eloise L. Young, appointed him as the Senior Pastor of The Tabernacle of Prayer Revival Center Inc.
Continually seeking the Lord's will through a life marked by consecration, fasting, and prayer, Bishop-Elect Young's passion for soul-winning birthed Faith Outreach Ministries. This outreach initiative focused on demonstrating Christ's love in urban communities. Under his leadership, Faith Outreach Ministries – Yonkers was established in 2015, experiencing remarkable growth with weekly services, prayer meetings, and Bible studies. Later, in 2018, Bishop-Elect Young expanded Faith Outreach to Middletown, NY, planting Faith Outreach Ministries – Middletown. Following much prayer, in 2019, Bishop-Elect Young was led to officially launch the Faith Outreach Ministry Alliance, where he currently serves as the Establishmentarian and General Overseer, providing Apostolic covering to six churches representing Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Despite facing adversities, Bishop-Elect Young stands firm, declaring victory over the schemes of the enemy with the powerful reminder, "The Devil is a Liar, and we still have the victory." Supported by his beloved wife, Lady Tanya Young, who stands faithfully by his side in every aspect of ministry, Bishop-Elect Young serves as a devoted husband, father, spiritual leader, and mentor. Known for his prophetic precision and humble demeanor, his ministry has flourished, inspiring believers to seek holiness and spiritual prosperity through a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
